"Third" edition, published in the same year that Colman the Younger's play was first staged at the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden. Ollapod in Act IV, scene i, exclaims: "Stay -- here's Kent, fertile in pheasants, cherries, hops, yeomen, codlings and cricketers", a quotation to be found on the title-page to Ashley-Cooper's Kent Cricket Matches (lot 217).
