On circular reeded silver-gilt footrim, the ibex horn 'Steinbockhorn' cup with plain upper rim, the base inside cup finely engraved horn plaque with an ibex in rose-shaped medallion, the detachable cover chased with floral C-scroll band, the centre with similar engraved horn plaque with an ibex 'Capricorn', surmounted by openwork floral C-scroll finial, marked on cover
