PROBABLY GUJARAT, WEST INDIA, EARLY 17TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form with fall front revealing seven graduated drawers, on four ball feet, all the visible surfaces decorated with ivory figures, animals or birds set against a ground of dense flowering and leafy trees, in a border of ivory inlaid floral meander, each of the drawer fronts with similar designs, the edges with ivory stringing, slight repairs, later brass mounts
10 5/8 x 7½ x 7½in. (27 x 18.8 x 19.3cm.)
