FIRST EDITION of Burke's masterpiece, with early issue points: B8, E2, F6, H2 and H3 are cancels, [A]2 is state a with the ornamental flower pointing to the right; the title is in state a, with the "M" in the imprint immediately below the first "D" of "Dodsley"; and 2A2 is in state x with no press figure.
