FORE-EDGE PAINTING DEPICTING NEW YORK BAY FROM STATEN ISLAND. Provenance: William Cowper Stansfield (signature dated 1804 on an endpaper). Second edition of this interesting work, a periodical produced by the boys of Eton, including George Canning (future Foreign Secretary), J. H. Frere and Robert Percy, printed by the first press established in Windsor.
