THE FIRST CIRCA 1680-1700, THE SECOND CIRCA 1700-1720, BLUE 24 MARK
The first blue and white, the blue-ground exterior reserved with circular panels of birds perched on flowering branches divided by smaller oval panels of herons in flight, below a border of meandering flowering stems against a ground of scrolls, the interior with a similar border above a central medallion with a galloping horse surrounded by flowers and scrolls (chipping and flaking to rims, section broken through, restuck and repaired);
The blue-ground exterior of the second reserved with shaped panels of coloured flowering branches divided by slender yellow bands and small panels of red foliage, the interior with bold blue foliate motifs (chipping and flaking to rims, cracks from rim, footrim with small section broken out into two pieces, one restuck and one lacking)
