MARK OF ALICE AND GEORGE BURROWS, LONDON, 1817
Compressed circular on collet foot and with reeded mid-rib, with flat-topped scroll spout and part-ivory scroll handle, the hinged cover with detachable part-ivory baluster finial, the side later engraved with two crests and motto with earl's coronet above, marked on base, cover and finial nut

The crests are those of Byng, for John, 1st Earl of Strafford G.C.B. (1772-1860)
