Each shaped oval with gadrooned border with shell, floral and scroll motifs and with two shell handles, the border later engraved with two crests and motto with earl's coronet above, each marked on reverse, also engraved with number and scratchweight 'No 1 81=8' and 'N2 83=6'

The crests are those of Byng, for John, 1st Earl of Strafford G.C.B. (1772-1860). (2)
