The rectangular top with inset brown leather writing-surface and reeded edge and a fitted drawer with two lozenges, on square tapering legs headed by fluted pilasters, the drawer support and reverse of drawer inscribed 'Sigre Appelberg Fredriksg.66', the drawer previously further fitted with a slide, drawer and divide, possibly originally with hinged top, some brass of later date
