The Tiffany Never-Wind was patented in 1901 by George Steele Tiffany. Originally based in New York city, the company moved to Buffalo circa 1904 and then finally to Dunkirk, N.Y. The movement is impulsed on each turn of the torsion pendulum. See also lot 8.
