The black roiro lacquer aikuchi koshirae with yotsume hishi crests, the gold sword fittings comprising a kurikata with flowers; fuchi of wood grain with ants and bee and kashira of beehive with a bee; menuki of chrysanthemums, signed Nori and Moto; kozuka with a Japanese nightingale perched on plum tree, signed Norimoto and with kao; wari-kogai of bamboo with sparrow in copper inlay, signed Norimoto and with kao; kojiri of a dragonfly; rim of saya signed Ittosai Manju and with kao; kuragawara chiseled with a poem, 19th century, overall length 38.7cm
