I & II, offsetting, spotting and occasional soil marks to text throughout, d2 of vol. I cleanly torn and repaired on verso, 3G1-3H4 of vol. II a little bumped at outer margin, a1 of vol. III with short tear at head), non uniform binding, text volumes in later roan-backed mottled boards (joints heavily rubbed), atlas volume in contemporary grey marbled boards (detached).
