GM: "The surgical section of Albucasis's Altasrif, the first rational, complete and illustrated treatise on surgery and surgical instruments. During the Middle Ages it was the leading textbook on surgery until superseded by Saliceto. This is the first edition in Arabic, and the first modern edition of the text. A Latin translation by Gerard of Cremona was printed in Venice in 1497."
