Late 18th/early 19th Century
The circular brass dial with adjustable Japanese chapters and single blued steel hand, the movement with circular brass plates with cylindrical pillars pinned to the backplate, chain fusee and spring barrel, verge escapement with plain brass two-arm balance with bridgecock on the backplate, housed within in a plain shitan-wood tambour-style case with tight fitting wood lid
The box - 2¾ in. (7 cm.) diam.
