Fourth quarter 19th Century
The silver gilt figure of Urania lying on a scroll settee engraved with foliate trellis work beside the blue and gilt stellar enamelled globe with silver Roman chapter ring and revolving within the polar and equitorial rings, the oval base enamelled with emblematic pastoral scenes, the replacement watch movement with lever escapement and wound through the baseplate, the whole resting on four foliate cast silver-gilt feet
