Kachelofen, painted with various gallant scenes, consisting of loose panels, cornices, borders and corner segments (various breaks and repairs, the stove is most probably complete, part lot is illustrated)

By repute this stove was retrieved from Schloss Harburg in the first quarter of the 20th century by the uncle of the present owners.

From the 15th century the Grafen von Oettingen were the owners of the romanesque Schloss Harbur. In 1731 the castle was inherited by the Fürst Oettingen-Wallerstein, who still resides there.
