partially glazed white ceramic painted in black, 1953, a proof apart from the numbered edition of 200 with the additional painting in black, with the 'Empreinte Original de Picasso' and 'Madoura Plein Feu' pottery stamps on the reverse, the black oxidized to pale brown and green, a few small unobtrusive chips in the glaze at center, a few minor glazing inconsistencies on the reverse, otherwise in good condition
