The left (illustrated) bronze is a reproduction one of the several models that Giambologna made for the 'Mercury in Flight' composition. This particular example is based on the monumental Medici Mercury of 1580 that was originally part of a fountain in front of the Loggia of the Villa Medici in Rome. It is now housed in the Bargello, Florence. It's pendant figure, possibly representing Fortuna, is a 19th century addition.
