etching, a fine impression of the first state (of seven), watermark Interlaced C's with the Cross of Lorraine, with narrow margins, with an unobtrusive horizontal fold through the centre of the sheet, two further minor creases only visible on the reverse, Esdaile's initials in brown ink at the the lower right corner, otherwise in very good condition, in a 17th Century oracular carved gilt frame.
