Provenance: early marginal annotations (shaved) -- ?notes in Italian and Latin in 18th-century hand (verso of last leaf).
RARE. The total known output of this press numbers 5 works printed between January 1480 and November 1481. Two of these five titles, this Varro and Nonius Marcellus' De proprietate sermonum, are reprints of Venetian editions, both dated 1478 and both the work of the same annonymous printer. Not in ISTC or Goff. Online Hand Press book database locates one copy in Göttingen. H *11903 (3); BMC VII, 942.
