Vita Christi is Ludolphus's principal work, presenting the history of the life of Christ as well as a series of dissertations, meditations and prayers. It was extremely popular and went through many editions up to the 19th century. All principal incunable catalogues except BSB-Ink cite this edition as a quarto, however the present copy is clearly an octavo. Polain records the publisher as being Paganinus de Paganinis.
