The hood with conjoined scroll cresting, reeded front angles, fretwork side panels, with arched trunk door flanked by chamfered angles, the plinth with quatreform panel to the plinth above wavy skirting, the 12in. diameter white painted Roman dial with subsidiary seonds and date rings, signed WM. PATRICK GREENWICH, blued steel hands, pinned directly to the eight day movement with shouldered plates joined by four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 81in. (206cm.) high
