Maker's mark of Paul de Lamerie, London, 1719
Vase-shaped and on spreading circular foot, the lower part of the body applied with acanthus foliage, with moulded borders, the detachable domed cover with quatrefoils between plain flutes and with baluster shaped finial, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on base and cover, the base with maker's mark struck twice

The wife's arms are those of Tyrrell impaled by another, as borne by the Tyrrell family of Springfield, co. Essex, baronets.
