Painted in brilliant cobalt-blue tones with alternating panels of figures in mountainous river landscapes and blossoming branches of prunus and camellia separated by bands of trellis-pattern, between foliate scroll-filled collars above and below, the domed cover with a knop finial encircled by 'antiques' above a dentil and cloud collar border
