The animated group is composed of the larger Buddhist lion seated on its haunches, wearing a collar suspending bells, and the cub clambering onto its back, both lions finely detailed with thick finely combed curly mane and long full tails, heavy paws and fierce expressions featuring bulging eyes under bushy brows, wide snouts and mouths slightly agape bearing teeth, the even white stone with areas of grey and brown inclusions
