Lot Essay

A turquoise glass censer of this form, with a similar mark, was sold in these Rooms, The Imperial Sale, 30 April 2000, lot 508.

Compare also with a mint-green glass tripod censer of the same form sold in these Rooms, 29 September 1992, lot 916, and an Imperial-yellow example included in the Thirty-fifth Anniversary Exhibition of the Min Chiu Society, In Pursuit of Antiquities, 1995, and illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 207.
