An American large oak electrically wound No.89 wall regulator, early 20th century
The case with stepped and moulded top and glazed door, the 12in. diameter white painted dial signed E. HOWARD & CO./BOSTON, with repeat signature to the weight-driven movement with Graham-type deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, separately suspended steel rod pendulum with double cylinder steel and brass bob, converted to electrical winding and with provision for one minute electric impulse -- 59in. (159cm.) high
