lithograph, 1948, on Pur Fil du Marais, signed in pencil, inscribed 'épreuve d'essai', dedicated 'à Herbert List, avec toute mon amitié Miró' and further inscribed '8/XII/X8', a proof aside from the edition of 75, published by Maeght, Paris, with full margins, a deckle edge to the top and bottom, a small (10 mm.) tear at the lower sheet edge, several soft-creases, not examined out of the frame
