拍品专文

This design, number 173492, was registered and patented by Coalbrookdale at the Public Records Office on 13th April 1864 and is stand number 230 in their 1875 Castings Catalogue, Section II, page 232.

It seems likely that Coalbrookdale produced this design to celebrate Queen Victoria'a silver wedding anniversary in 1865, despite Prince Albert himself having died in 1861.
