A Five-Piece Victorian Silver Tea and Coffee Service with an En Suite Tea Tray
Mark of Elkington & Co., Birmingham, the tray 1891, the service 1898
Each piece of pear shape with foliate scroll motifs, supported on mask capped feet, comprising: a teapot; a coffee pot; a hot water pot, each with ivory insulated handles; a cream jug and a sugar bowl; the tray oval with similar decoration and two applied handles, each piece engraved with a crest and motto - the tray 29in. (73.6cm.) long, 234oz. gross.
