an embossed and pierced paperlace card, stamp marked Dobbs with silver bells and greenery, with verse 'Belfry/Whispers of a Wedding/O I must tune my sweetesy air/Yes for such a goodly pair...Joyful be our peal that day/and for their happiness we'll pray - 5 X 8in. 13 X20cm., circa 1860; another stamp marked Dobbs, with embossed gilded border, with a cupid on the side, verse To Kathleen and signed Richard, Feb 14 1851; another stamp marked Dobbs Kidd & Co, with two hearts cut out of the centre with a man and womens head in each, above is True Sweethearts; card opens to reveal the man and woman holding hands - 5 X 7½in. 13 X 19m.; another similar stamp marked Dobbs Kidd & Co, with a floral centre and With Devoted Affection, inside is hand-written message From an affectionate, though absent wife - 3¾ X 5½in. 9 X 14cm.
