Made up of numerous tiles, the blue ground painted with the aftermath of a deer hunt with three figures, one with a gun, the other two holding deer, surrounded by a variety of flowers and flowering trees with perching birds, in a yellow ground border of meandering tendrils linking S-panels and palmettes between stripes, various repairs, occasional chips and breaks, wooden frame

Two spandrels with very similar execution is in the British Museum (Porter, Venetia: Islamic Tiles, London, 1995, pl.72(detail), p.77). The border in both examples is identical in drawing but has been differently coloured in the present spandrel.
