Epingle finement fondue dont la partie effilée se termine par une bague à décor granulé. Le sommet représente un guerrier debout et casqué tenant un long bâton gravé dans ses mains tendues, aux yeux et à la bouche indiqués par un percement et paré d'un anneau nasal et d'ornements d'oreille massifs à la taille disproportionnée et richement décorés de motifs granulés. Deux instruments de percussions sont accrochés à l'arrière.

CALIMA GOLD LIME DIPPER
CA. A. D. 200-400

Finely cast with the tapering shaft terminating in a banded neck with granulated decoration, surmounted by a standing, helmeted warrior, holding a long, incised staff in his outstretched hands, with pierced yes and mouth, adorned with nose ring and massive, oversize ear ornaments richly decorated with granulation, two clappers attached to the reverse.
Ceremonial lime dippers superbly display the fine art of lost-wax casting, with intricate details frequently requiring magnification for complete appreciation.
