Early twentieth century, the plates signed E.O.Ball, A.Perry, the vase signed P.Simpson, with printed and impressed marks
The plates painted with a central panel of mountainous landscape before a lake, one with a view of Windermere, the other with a view of Loch Vennachar, within richly-gilt scrolling cartouches, the border with raised-gilt floral motifs and shaped rim, the oviform vase with a a central scrolling gilt cartouche with a view of Ruins of Brunnenburgh, reserved on a pale-blue ground, between scrolling gilt rims (small hairline)
