Comprising an oviform vase on a high spreading foot, moulded with panels of ladies and birds on a perch, 11.2 cm. high; a 'klapmuts' bowl mounted with a silver swing-handle, painted to the exterior with a continuous scene of ladies and children in a rocky garden, Chenghua mark, 15.6 cm. diam.; an underglaze-red and blue pear-shaped vase painted with lions among foliage and scrolls, 20.7 cm. high; a soft-paste circular box and cover painted with a dragon, Chenghua mark, 6 cm. diam.; two late Ming Swatow jarlets, 8 cm. and 5.3 cm. high; and a Japanese bowl Chawan, enamelled with a crab, 10.5 cm. diam., minor chips and cracks (7)
