Mark of Casper Janszonius, Haarlem, 1753, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Alkmaar
Of baluster form, on a plain circular rim, the lower part of the body chased and embossed with drapery, trelliswork, foliage and tassels, plain mid-part and the upper part with a band of stylised foliage, shaped partly fluted spout, scroll handle wrapped with cane, detachable conforming cover with baluster finial, base inscribed with initials C.W.H and G.L.K, marked on base and inner rim cover
