A fine pair of Dutch silver candlesticks and four identical later candlesticks, two with four-light tops
The pair with mark of Johan Fredrik Seis, Amsterdam, 1793, also struck with later duty mark of 1795 for Amsterdam; two candlesticks with tops of Fa. J.M. van Kempen & Zonen, Voorschoten, 1904, tops only struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1814-1963; two candlesticks of Ph. H. Saakes, The Hague, 1904, one also struck with retailer's mark of T. SAAKES
Each on a shaped circular partly fluted swirling domed foot with scrolling and rocaille rim, rising to a conforming baluster stem and vase-shaped capital, four candlesticks with detachable shaped circular fluted nozzles, two candlesticks with wired four-light conforming upper-parts with scrolling foliate arms and detachable nozzles, each candlestick with engraved crest on foot, marked on footrim, capital, nozzle and upper parts
