Shaped as a three-storied building, the frieze inscribed: ANNO 1892, the balcony: N B O, the plain foot rim: AAN H. ZEEMAN TER HERINNERING AAN DEN 9den JULI 1941 AANGEBODEN DOOR HET BESTUUR DER N.B.O and NICOLAAS WITSENKADE 30 AMSTERDAM (C) IN GEBRUIKGENOMEN 4 MEI 1937, flanked by the coat-of-arms of Amsterdam and another one, mounted on framed wooden panel with silver plaquette with various names, marked on lower left
