Late 17th and 18th Century
Comprising a pair of lobed dishes, painted in underglaze bue, iron-red and gilt with flowering peony issuing from rockwork surrounded by variously shaped flower panels, 23.8 cm. diam.; two oval dishes, painted in underglaze blue, iron-red and gilt with a butterfly hovering above flowering peony, enriched with flower sprays, 25.5 cm. wide; and an assorted lot of three famille rose cups and saucers; a U-shaped batavian ware bowl and cover, an imari dish and spoon-tray; a blue and white tea-caddy; and a Japanese Arita tripod salt, the concave well supported on a domed base, circa 1700, 7.3 cm. high, rim frittings and a crack (14)
