The concave-sided moulded dished triangular top with central domed berried flowerhead paterae and lobed corners raising on an adjustable ratchet, the columnar stem with ring-turned collars and further oval floral patarae, on foliate-carved channelled cabriole legs and scroll feet, with Norman Adams label and handwritten label '895R-.-.£1212', the top of the shaft constructed in two sections, held together by a brass collar and incorporating a winding mechanism with removable cast- iron and walnut turning-handle
