The vendor was given the material in this lot by a friend, according to whom both items were obtained following a performance in London by Bob Marley and the Wailers during the 1980 Uprising tour. The friend had been invited to a post-concert party and it was here that the card was signed, and Marley cut off this section of dreadlock and gave it to her.
