The pagoda hood with brass ball and spire finials and centred by a fretwork panel, flanked by outset brass stop-fluted reeded columns, glazed side panels, breakarch trunk door with moulded frame, the plinth with moulded rectangular panel and raised on a wavy skirting, the 11¾in. wide brass dial with foliate spandrels to a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with recessed silvered seconds disc and square date aperture, signed on an arched plaque Benj.n Webb London, blued steel hands, the arch with silvered strike/silent ring with matted centre, the five pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 94½in.
