A French parcel-silvered gilt-brass striking and repeating calendar with alarm, full calendar and moonphase
The anglaise riche case with reeded columns and Corinthian capitals, with ripple mouldings and on stepped base, the dial mask with engraved floral sprigs, silvered Roman chapter ring centred by a painted rolliong moonphase, blued steel hands, with subsidiary rings below for day, alarm and date, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to lever escapement with bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to back plate with silvered and frosted finish, moon adjustment lever to base of case -- 6¾in. (17.25cm.) high to hilt of handle
