**A FINELY CARVED CORAL BOTTLE
1850-1920
Of rounded rectangular shape, the salmon-colored material well carved in relief on one side with a female beauty wearing loose robes holding over her shoulder a large blossom set in a vase, the reverse with a string of cash dangling above a three-legged toad, the original stopper in the form of Liu Hai completing the scene, the narrow sides carved in high relief with a spray of peony growing from rockwork on one side and peonies growing from a small pot on the other side
