A MUGHAL GREYISH-GREEN JADE FLOWER-FORM BOWL
17th/18th century
The deep, rounded sides thinly carved as twelve petals rising to the lobed rim from a central flowerhead, the exterior carved at the base of the petals with a band of leaves above a shallow foot finely carved as a four-petalled flower with under-turned petals that form the foot ring, with a pair of handles in the form of tight pendent buds borne on leafy stems, the translucent stone of greyish-green color
