This imposing pair of chandeliers is typical of the Piedmontese production of the second half of the 18th Century. The central wooden baluster shaft as well as the nozzles and drip-pans can be found on models illustrated in E. Quaglino, Il Piemonte, Milano, 1966, pp.143-145. The chandeliers offered here are particularly close to the production of Saluzzo.
