The Dallmeyer Long Focus camera was introduced in 1899 and described as 'the most spectacular' hand and stand camera. It was discontinued from around 1905. Dallmeyer's catalogue the stated the camera: 'is designed to combine the convenience of the American types of folding camera with the solidity and finish of the production of the best English manufacturers This Camera is an exceedingly handy instrument and provides more facilities for the production of varied kinds of photographic work than most of its predecessors'.
