Circa 1845, underglaze blue sceptre above KPM marks, stencilled red orb above K.P.M. mark, painter's blue inverted L marks, cup with gilt circle and cross mark, saucer with Pressnummer 26
The cup with gilt snake handle and on three matt-gilt paw feet, painted with a view of the fountain at Sanssouci named in black script Sanssouci bei Potsdam. within a rectangular gilt band cartouche flanked by gilt scrolling foliage and between a band of moulded pearl ornament and gilt bands, the saucer with a continuous band of scrolling gilt foliage between bands of moulded pearl ornament and concentric gilt bands (very slight rubbing to rim of saucer) (2)
