The flared cup painted with a view of Das Opernhaus in Berlin. inscribed in black to the underside, within a rectangular panel on a richly gilt ground reserved with bands of moulded pearl ornament, the swan neck handle, interior of the cup and three paw feet richly gilt, the saucer with a central gilt stylised rosette on a richly gilt ground reserved with two bands of moulded pearl ornament
