Circa 1820-23, underglaze blue sceptre marks, saucer impressed 28 //
The cup of flared form with a waisted gilt foot, moulded with a white biscuit portrait of Queen Elisabeth in profile to the right on a matt blue ground within an oval gilt line cartouche enclosed by a gilt garland of roses, on a pale-pink ground gilt with scrolling stylised foliage, the high scroll handle moulded with beads and enriched in gilding, the interior richly gilt, the saucer with a similar ground with gilt scrolling foliage and anthemion within broad gilt bands (slight rim chip to saucer and very minor rubbing to well)
